REVIEW: Moxie Wearable Vibrator by We-Vibe

The moxie wearable vibrator by We-Vibe has a simple “on” button and can be controlled remotely or by an app.

Let’s Get Physical

The Moxie by We-Vibe is a wearable panty vibrator. I’ve reviewed one before, and it was… not even close to great. However, Moxie is far superb. It’s a small vibrator in a beautiful mint color. With the assistance of a magnet, the Moxie vibrator is designed to fit securely in your panties.

Moxie is ergonomically designed to rest against your vulva. Moxie has a slightly raised section whereabouts your clit would be for more targeted stimulation. This wearable vibrator is about palm-sized and runs almost the length of my vulva.

Moxie Vibrator in Action

To start the Moxie vibrator, press the on button on the bottom. After that, the fun can start either controlled via app or remote.

I’m not a fan of buzzy vibrations (though recently, I got pleasure from a buzzy toy), and We-Vibe has excellent and rumbly vibrations for all their toys. It’s a good feeling knowing that my hand and clit won’t be going numb after a short while of use.

The vibrations were rumbly and robust and could be heard on the plane, but they could not be heard through a wall. If you have a roommate, the Moxie vibrator is an acceptable toy to use discreetly in neighboring rooms.

Wearing the Moxie is surprisingly comfortable. With or without vibrations, you’ll remember it’s there, but it doesn’t press on my vulva uncomfortably. In fact, the tighter the panties I wore, the more I felt the vibrations. The magnetic fastener was solid, and I didn’t worry about the toy becoming dislodged.

Here’s What You Get & Ways to Use the Moxie

We-Vibe sent me the Moxie Wearable vibrator for my vacation! My experience on the plane follows. We-Vibe sent me a bonus bag for travel.

The packaging includes a USB charger, two magnetic slabs, the toy, a remote, and a storage bag. The storage bag was a nice touch.

The charger We-Vibe sends you is a USB magnetic rechargeable cord. I love how they use a universal plug like this for their vibrators. Identifying a We-Vibe cord is easy; they all look the same.

For those who know me, it’s safe to say I can lose something as large as a mountain without any effort. I was thrilled to find a spare panty magnet for the Moxie panty vibrator in the packaging. While I have yet to lose it, it feels good knowing I can make that mistake and not lose the vibrator’s functionality.

While the Moxie vibrator is a fun solo toy, I could interact with my partner because it was remote and app-controlled. She downloaded the We-Vibe app and played around with the settings while I sat in bed and wiggled around.

Materials, Care, and Keeping

The Moxie is made from silky-smooth body-safe silicone. Silicone is non-porous and easily sanitized. Silicone doesn’t need to be sanitized, but you should wash the toy with soap and water before and after each use.

However, it can be in a 10:1 water bleach solution. While it’s possible to boil silicone or put it in the dishwasher to sanitize, it’s not advised for the Moxie because of its motor. Wash the Moxie vibrator by hand with soap after use, which will be adequate.

Any water-based lubricant will do with this toy while it isn’t necessary. Many people may find lube makes the experience more comfortable. However, this isn’t a vibrator intended to be used with your hands. I will always advocate for Sliquid H2O. While it’s possible to use a hybrid silicone-water lube like Spunk Lube, it’s ill-advised to use silicone lube with a silicone toy. If you must use one, do a spot test first. However, you’ll get a sampling of water-based We-Vibe lube in the packaging.

I took the Moxie on the Plane

I was pursuing We-Vibe’s site a few days before I went on vacation and saw the Moxie. Planes never fail to stress me out, and the only way to get through a flight is by taking a nice dose of a rescue anti-anxiety med. While I have no qualms about taking the med, I’m open to other ways to cope. So, when I saw the Moxie vibrator, I had a genius idea: wear it on the plane to combat anxiety. I wanted to keep the dose as low as possible, and I thought I would use the Moxie on the aircraft to have fun and distract myself.

I was able to get the Moxie through security, but here’s the damn deal: it’s too loud to use in a calm-ish environment. While the vibrations aren’t noisy, it may be heard if you are in a plane inches from a person.

Instead of wearing it on the plane, I secured it in my panties when we were off the plane. The Moxie’s vibrations travel well, but there isn’t enough firm contact to get me off. I was able to get off by sitting down with the vibrator in my panties and leaning forward. But without holding the Moxie vibrator with my hands, I wasn’t able to get firm enough stimulation to come.

Final Thoughts

The We-Vibe Moxie vibrator is the best panty toy I’ve had the pleasure of using, but it was mostly for stimulation, not as a means to an end. The Moxie attached to my panties didn’t give me enough stimulation to come, but it was fun.

The Moxie vibrator is a fun way to play with your partner and release control to someone you trust. Whether you play solo or with a partner, the rumbly vibrations of the We-Vibe Moxie add something extra to your day. Moxie is an excellent toy to use for hands-free play.

You can get the Moxie by We-Vibe over here directly from We-Vibe’s site or through a retailer like Lovehoney, Betty’s Toy Box, Babeland, or Good Vibes.
