One of my first “luxury sex toys” was a Lelo toy. I’ve reviewed some Lelo products, including the mind-blowing Mona 2. Would the Smart Wand 2 hold up to the mighty sex toy the Mona 2? And what’s the deal with the Enigma, a toy similar to another few I’ve reviewed?

Toy in Use

Three buttons control the Lelo Smart Wand 2: (+) controls the speed; (~) is the middle button that controls the patterns and turns the toy on and off; and the (-) button decreases the intensity of the vibrations. It’s easy to use these buttons without looking at them. The buttons all have a different feeling for your fingertips to differentiate among without looking at the toy.

To charge the Lelo Smart Wand 2, you have to stick the charging cord into the port at the end of the handle and leave it for a bit. You’ll have about FOUR HOURS of playtime when it’s fully charged. That is crazy cool!

At first glance, I was unsure if the toy was waterproof because the charging port is large and the metal is exposed, but I trusted the manual and had a grand ol’ time with the Smart Wand.

To charge the Enigma, push the charging cord through the silicone. Three buttons control the Enigma, too. The middle button starts the vibrations, and the center button creates the air-pulsing that gives you the oral sex, sucking feature.

I was pleasantly surprised with the weight of the Lelo Smart Wand 2. Although it is relatively large, it isn’t uncomfortably heavy. I could comfortably use this toy as long as I needed to reach orgasm. Plus, the handle is designed to make holding it more comfortable. My larger tummy makes it harder for me to get my vulva sometimes, but this was not an issue with such a long handle.

The Enigma is an easy toy to handle. It’s not heavy at all. Additionally, the flexible shaft of the Enigma gives me a lot of wiggle-room.

Design, Materials, Care, and Keeping

Silicone is a body-safe material and my favorite material in a sex toy. While you cannot use silicone-based lubricant for these toys, I always glop on some water-based lube to make things run a bit smoother. The Smart Wand 2 is encased entirely in silicone but for a stretch of gold, metallic ABS plastic on the back of the handle. Honestly, I love the look of this. Silicone also covers the Enigma.

To clean the toy, all you have to do is wash the contact points with soap and water, and you’re golden. Silicone is non-porous and won’t absorb any bacteria.

At 100% waterproof, you can do a lot with the Lelo Smart Wand 2 and the Enigma. Since these toys are waterproof, it is so much easier to clean. Either spot clean the head of the toy that came in contact with your body or dunk that shit under the water and scrub it there ’till it taps out.

Although the Smart Wand 2 and the Enigma come with a storage bag, that isn’t necessary because the silicone can safely lay in your nightstand, touching your other silicone toys, and nothing will leak off either. I must say, however, that the black silicone attracts lint and cat hair like crazy. The bag is a good idea to keep your sex toy clear of lint and hair since I have so many toys; I chuck them into a drawer so I don’t use the satin storage pouch.

I love the look of the Lelo Smart Wand 2. It’s a solid, black silicone with an elegant gold plastic finishing on the toy’s handle. My favorite color for sex toys is black, and I was am so pleased with the look of the Lelo Wand. I like the metallic accents of the Smart Wand 2, and the following three toys I reviewed for Lelo have the same features: the Enigma, Soraya 2, and the Ora 3.

The Smart Wand 2 isn’t anything incredibly unique. I’ve reviewed a lot of wands, including the Wand by We-Vibe, so I’ve seen a whole hell of a lot going on. However, the Lelo Smart Wand 2 is the most rumbly Wand that I’ve come across.

You’ll find, in my blog, that I prefer rumbly toys. With the new We-Vibe Touch and Tango, I found that rumbly vibes still work with my body, just not as well as they used to. I now opt for more miniature rumbly toys against my clit.

Lelo Smart Wand 2’s vibrations are so deep that the rumbliness cannot get me quickly off, and that’s weird. I used to think I was a “deep and rumbly vibration” gal, but my body is constantly changing. I had to turn the tempo up significantly to feel like the vibrations were constant enough to bring me to orgasm. I’ve used this toy many times, and the only times I was consistently able to orgasm was when I reached the second-to-highest level.

I like that I have so many options with the Smart Wand 2. I’m learning ten patterns. The second pattern of the Smart Wand 2 was my favorite. However, I liked the steady vibrations the best.

I had to press the Wand against my body rather firmly to feel the constant vibrations. Lelo’s Smart Wand 2’s neck was stiffer than other wands I’ve enjoyed using. While this could have been an excellent feature when I pressed harder, the vibrations did less to my clit. I couldn’t get over that the vibrations were muted.

The Enigma is a toy similar to the BESO and the SOHIMI, but there’s something that appears to set this toy apart from the others: Lelo is a “luxury” sex toy manufacturer.

Sucking (or air-pulse toys) are my favorite sex toys because they mimic oral sex on a clit or sucking a nipple, but they don’t slow down when they get tired. The first time I squirted it was with a suction toy, and ever since then, I flow freely.

Air-pulse technology isn’t the only thing the Enigma has going for itself – it also has a g-spotting arm. You’ll find in my blog that I’m a sucker for air-pulse and g-spot stimulation, so having the two of them together is a massive bonus.

To start my experience with the Enigma, I slathered on some lube. Then, I inserted the g-spotting arm, adjusted my body so that my clit lined up with the head, and went to town.

The suction of the Enigma is surprisingly strong. I lasted about two minutes before I came from the pulses of air against my clit. Although the Enigma vibrates, I wasn’t aware of it because my attention was on the air pulses and the pressure on my g-spot.

Overall

Overall, this Wand wasn’t a disappointment. It has rumbly vibes that my body used to (literally) gush over, and the ten patterns are so different that I could find one or two that I wanted to use. The vibrations are muted when I press the Smart Wand 2 against my body. I’ll be gifting this Wand to my mother-in-law, who prefers wand vibrators. Since I have so flippin’ many toys, it’s not a loss because I know it’ll go to good use.

The Enigma is a great toy. It’s similar to the Womanizer Duo, and I like it. It’s nice that the Enigma has such a flexible body because that makes it easier to manipulate.
