I’ve been reviewing for We-Vibe for years now and am constantly impressed by them, so I was ecstatic when I was given the opportunity to review the We-Vibe Wand. While I’ve really only disliked one We-Vibe toy — the Wish— it wasn’t because of the functionality. Rather, the damn vibrations numbed my hand. We-Vibe also makes the Tango, my all-time favorite bullet vibrator

While there are some major toy companies that still sell battery-powered toys, all of We-Vibe’s toys are rechargeable. (Big thank-you for the environment!) I’m spoiled in that I much prefer a rechargeable. It just makes me feel so much better about using that toys’ energy.

As the We-Vibe Wand is waterproof, not only can you take it into the bath but you can also wash it with soap and water after each use and not worry about water damage. That comes in quite handy for when you aren’t in the mood to carefully clean your toy and avoid water contact.

My Experience with the Wand by We-Vibe

I was super excited to get the Wand vibrator by We-Vibe for review because I’ve recently discovered the joy that is a racehorse packed in a wand vibrator.

Above I mentioned that the We-Vibe Wish numbed my hands with the vibrations. That’s not a threat with the We-Vibe Wand. It’s ergonomically designed to both go with the flow of your body (the long handle allows for a larger-bodied individual to use it). The Wand’s vibrations don’t travel too much through the body of the toy and are still comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

This Wand vibrator is very much top-heavy but that didn’t bother me because my wrists are able to handle the weight. While that’s only a small caveat, it is worth keeping in mind.

“Smart Silence” Mode Was Fantastic

The Wand by We-Vibe features a “smart silence” mode that turns off the vibrations until it touches your body, on the handle and on the head of the wand. For me, that was welcome. It’s awkward, pressing buttons you don’t mean to and having the vibrators turn on. This way, it’s only on if it’s touching two parts of your body.

There are two buttons that lead you through different strengths of vibrations and patterns. I loved the slider (for lack of better termage) control for the speed of the vibrations. A layer of silicone over the slider and buttons made for easier cleaning.

You Can Use Other Attachments Designed for Other Standard Wands!

The Wand by We-Vibe comes with two attachments. A little flurry thing and a penis stroker. I need hard, steady vibrations so I wasn’t in love with the flurry attachment, and the penis attachment wasn’t of use to us. However, this doesn’t mean they’re shitty toys. I just cannot comment too much on them.

One of the nice things about these attachments, however, is that they came wit the Wand by We-Vibe. It wasn’t something that cost money separately.

That being said, the Wand’s head is a standard size and you can use other attachments for it. There are several wand heads I’d recommend:

Packaging and Cleaning

I absolutely love the packaging We-Vibe toys come in. The packaging of the Wand Vibrator is a durable, sturdy box that can either be used to store the toy or house other objects. I personally will reuse these boxes for things like storing Palo Santo or chime candles. I also love it when the packaging is so sturdy, I can easily repurpose it.

Overall, the Wand by We-Vibe is Worth the Bang

And a Big Bang that is. The We-Vibe Wand is $179 USD as of this posting but is well worth it, even if there are less expensive counterparts like the (Hitachi) Original Magic Wand or the le Wand.

I loved the “Smart Silence” component of the Wand and ergonomically it was a breeze. The classic wand head can use other companies’ wand attachments. You can get it at We-Vibe, Lovehoney, Good Vibes, or Betty’s Toy Box. I love all of them.
