I’m psyched to review the California Dreaming Cal Exotic Palisades Passion vibe today! Although I was on hiatus for about a year, Betty’s Toy Box welcomed me back and immediately sent me the Palisades vibe.

When looking at vibrators, I could pick among the Palisades Passion vibrators that stuck out. I’m a sucker for fingers and tongues, and the fact that the California Dreaming Palisades Passion rubs the clit, I was mesmerized. When I got it, I couldn’t wait. I tore open the packaging and turned it around in my hands to admire what I would shortly put in my body.

Silicone is a popular material to use to make a body-safe toy. The Palisades Passion vibrator is covered in silicone, but there are a few outlines surrounding the buttons and the design on the back of the toy. The accent material of the toy is ABS plastic, a body-safe material.

Silicone is easy to clean and doesn’t need to be sanitized. It’s best to wash the Palisades Passion rabbit vibe with water and soap before and after each use. Be careful to get in the waves of the head of the toy with soap, and it’s okay to submerge the toy – it’s waterproof!

Ironclad Accessory – Lube!

Something I always use when I try out a toy is a lube. Lots and lots of lube! I found, however, that I used too much lube with the California Dreaming Palisades Passion. There was no drag to the side-to-side teaser against my skin when I used too much lube. I had to wipe off the arm of the toy and my clit, so I’d feel the sensations better.

I used water-based lube because silicone lube can damage silicone toys. While some hybrids are safe, and I do use them, water-based is the safest way to go. You can also wipe the toy down with a cleaner (here’s a lube I like + a cleaner), but before the subsequent use, please rinse the toy.

Rechargeable

The Palisades Passion is rechargeable. To charge the toy, plug it in and connect the USB port to your computer or an adapter. Rechargeable toys last longer, and you don’t use batteries. I can only speak highly of the rechargeable toy.

Each of the three buttons was easy to press without looking at the control panel. I’m not too fond of toys when I have to take them off/out of me to move to the next speed or vibration setting. The Palisades Passion vibrator was a breeze, especially in the “moment.”

Vibrations are pretty quiet with the Palisades Passion, though the arm makes a mechanical noise when it moves. That makes me think of Steampunk and wonder how loud their vibrators would be. Indeed, they would sound like this, but…. louder.

The mechanical noise is high-pitched and louder than the vibrations. Overall, though, this toy shouldn’t be heard through standard doors. My wife couldn’t listen to it, but remember the mechanical whine for those of you with thin walls.

My California Dreaming Palisades Passion Experience

The first thing I did before I held the Palisades Passion against my body was to slather lube on the shaft and the arm with water-based lube. However, as I used the toy, I found too much lube on the arm and had to wipe some off me and the toy. When the lube-to-body ratio was correct, I relaxed to enjoy what was about to happen to me.

With the Palisades Passion, I could close my eyes, succumb to the fantasies, and feel the heat of the toy in my body. It truly feels like a finger. I don’t tend to fantasize much when I’m masturbating. I usually watch porn. After a while, all the vibrations felt the same, especially considering I used more than one toy. However, the arms sweep let me pause and focus on the sensation.

The arm didn’t hit my clit directly; I had to push it in my vagina a little farther and angle the toy so it hit just right. When I used the toy with less in me, I was struck by the feeling I got with the ROMP Cello (review to follow). The head of the Palisades Passion hit my G-spot. Let’s not forget to address the strength and variety of vibrations. The vibrations are STRONG and somewhat rumbly. I was pleased with the power of the vibrations because they were just rumbly enough to get me there when I pressed the shaft against my clit.

There are ten settings for vibration, and I used the third level. They traveled somewhat to the arm, but it wasn’t noticeable. That being said, I preferred it that way. I wanted to focus on the arm while the vibrations buzzed against my G-spot. The arm is too unique for me to like it, and it also vibrates.

Overall Thoughts

I am obsessed with the Cal Exotics California Dreaming Palisades Passion vibrator. The arm moves like my partner’s thumb against my clit, but it doesn’t get tired as fingers do. The Palisades Passion can go up to 150 minutes with that same pressure and movements. It was great to get that specific sensation without worrying how long it’d last.
