Review: Chic Daisy Vibrator

Design, Materials, Care and Keeping

The Chic Daisy is a silicone bullet vibrator.

The design of the Chic Daisy is simple. It’s a standard silicone bullet with some fancy gold accents.

I used to love bullets above other toys, but now wands are more my thing LINK HERE. However, I can appreciate a good bullet TANGO, but the Chic Daisy is not that.

Although the bullet is silicone, thus making it body-safe, I cannot get into the buzzy vibrations it offers. I need more than a buzz that is going to numb my vulva.

The Daisy Chic has a memory function that remembers the latest disappointing pattern and speeds it was on. It’s also waterproof, which is a good thing in my book. I like waterproof because, for a while, that was my go-to masturbation center. It also has a travel lock which is good because I’d hate anyone to find out that I have a bullet as… not-good as this one.

Accessibility

Accessibility is always an issue in this household. My wife has severe carpal tunnel syndrome and cannot hold large toys for long. She also cannot hold vibrators in awkward positions. She is, however, able to control Daisy. It’s a very light toy that fits comfortably in her palm.

I could nestle the Chic Daisy against my fat vulva and past my FUPA, which is always a relief. I typically gravitate toward wands because they’re easier to use, and the reach is more accessible. My current favorite wand is the Wand by We-Vibe which I encourage you to try out.

Toy in Use

Chic Daisy is a weak bullet vibrator in stunning blue silicone

To turn the Chic Daisy by Cal Exotics on, you have to hold the single power button. This button controls the speeds of the toy and all ten functions. And don’t forget that it has a goddamn memory function, so whatever you used before hurriedly turning it off when your roommates walk into the room will be saved for future use. If you want something different, then you’ll have to cycle through everything again and again ’till you make it to the one that works best for your body.

Rose’s Experience

I'm so happy that the Daisy is rechargeable.

I had the worst time with this toy. While I was using it in the shower, it was so disappointing that I yelled to my wife that I needed a better vibrator. She came back with the Womanizer, which is my favorite toy. Also, she came with the ROMP Beat, which was significantly better.

Having to yell for another vibrator so I can fucking come already is annoying. Not everyone has that luxury. Sometimes, we hide what’s going on in our pants for the sake of our friendships.

The vibrations were so weak that I just couldn’t come from this vibrator. Now, I must say that I don’t come with every toy I use, but this one got me close enough so that I wanted to come. That is a positive sign. The not-coming-because-it-sucks is not.

I found that the vibrations are the full speed didn’t do the job. It was incredibly disappointing, given how affordable this toy is. I will give you some other options for better toys down below.

Buy the Chic Daisy (Or Don’t)

You can buy the Chic Daisy at Betty’s Toy Box; however, I’d suggest investing in another bullet. If you can fork over the cash, the Tango X and Touch X are both magical. The Zumio series is also excellent, and there are several. If you’re strapped for money, as a whole fuckton of us are, give the ROMP Beat a try. The ROMP series is cheap, and it’s GOOD. I have a review of the Beat and the Jazz coming up soon.

You can also buy the Chic Daisy at Betty Toy Box’s sister site in Canada at Naughty North.

  1. I mostly liked bullets because they could be inserted into toys…either way, I’m sorry this one is so lackluster!
