A little bit about Lovehoney

Lovehoney is one of my favorite affiliates. I’ve reviewed loads of toys for them. I like two main things about them: they ship internationally and they have a 1-year product guarantee. That means if the product stops working or something is wrong with it, they’ll replace it for you. In fact, the Satisfy Me dildo restored faith in my body that I could still experience a pleasure.

It brings me pain to react negatively to a toy but the Happy Rabbit Thrusting Realistic rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator was a “miss” for me. I want to say it had great potential

My Experience with the Happy Rabbit Thrusting Realistic Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator

The Happy Rabbit Thrusting Realistic Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator is really uncomfortable, y’all. I could feel it pinch my vagina and was just overall pain. I didn’t like having it thrust but when I did use the thrusting mechanism it was loud and required a LOT of lube (like Sliquid if you want to go there….).

Pinching is not what you want to feel in an internal toy and it’s clear that the accordion setup is the culprit. There is a right way to do this STRONIC STRONIC THUMP IT and this is not it. It’s reminiscent of me taking my menstrual cup out and pinching my innards in the process. (For those that menstruate, this may bring up a reasonable comparison.)

I found that with the Happy Rabbit Thrusting Rabbit Vibrator what I enjoyed most was the vibrations. These vibrations are practically identical to the vibrations of their other rabbits (I’ve reviewed quite a few in this sentence). I preferred to extend the shaft of the toy to make it longer and focus on the vibrations against my clit. This rabbit, like many of Lovehoney’s others, aligned with my vagina and clit. For the rest of you, it may be a guessing game unless you want to take a measuring tape to your genitals.

Try this with the thrusting shaft…

As with other Lovehoney rabbits, the ears matched up with my body and as long as I kept a firm grasp on the rabbit, I was able to have it thrust without losing contact with my clit. This is the bummer thing about rabbit vibrators – that’s just a try of my body. I’ve had great success with the Nova being a toy that keeps constant contact on the vibrating arm to my clit. What’s really cool about this rabbit is that it thrusts (uncomfortably) with the shaft but it also vibrates in the rabbit ears separately. I loved this. With the accordion fold I was able to turn on the thrusting and pause it at the length I wanted the toy, then turn that off and enjoy the vibrations.

All hope is not lost with this toy: turns out, the Happy Rabbit Thrusting Realistic RechargeableVibrator is technically adjustable. If you make the toy thrust, then turn it off when it’s either longer or shorter, you have a customized vibrator right there. Pretty cool, right?

Materials, Care and Keeping

The Happy Rabbit Thrusting Realistic Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator is a silicone toy which means it’s body-safe. Because it’s silicone, all it needs is to be washed. Soap and water will clean it but make sure you get all the nooks and crannies. I’m not very careful when it comes to cleaning and my first try didn’t go well. If you really want to sanitize it you can use a bleach-to-water solution.

Silicone isn’t porous but silicone lube can damage silicone toys so take care not to use silicone lube. Instead, an oil-based lube or a water-based lube will do the trick. I like Sliquid and Butter’s Hygienics as my two go to lubes. Sliquid also has a cool organics line, too.

A bit more about the Happy Rabbit

I like to take toys in the bath and when I read about the Happy Rabbit being submersible (waterproof) I was so excited. Waterproof is my jam and I’m glad they were able to accommodate me.

The Happy Rabbit is also a rechargeable toy. It doesn’t have a magnetic charger like so many other rechargeable toys do. However, plugging the charger into the charging port is no extra work and it doesn’t impact the fact that this toy is waterproof.

Should you get this?

This was designed to be a multi-functioning toy but it’s only a decent toy when it’s not thrusting. As a rabbit, it’s fun to be able to control the length of the shaft while focusing on the vibrations. That being said, if you really want a thrusting toy, Lovehoney carries several others that do the trick. And if you want a thrusting dildo that holds to its name, Lovehoney carries those, too.
