Review: Iroha+ Yoru Vibrator

Review: Iroha+ Yoru Vibrator

I’m back with another review thanks to The Vibed, one of my favorite stores to work with! This time, I explore the iroha+ YORU for you. I’ve had several iroha toys like the Minamo, iroha Mini (read review), Yuzucha, and the Mikazuki in my personal collection. I’m super excited to have one (one of two) to officially review for you!

This toy sits on a mossy bank.

Design, Care, and Materials of the Tenga iroha+ YORU

This toy sits on aa mossy area. It's a squishy, silicone toy with a mouth to press against any body parts you can imagine.

The irhoa Plus YORU has a very unique shape. It reminds me vaguely (but enough that I’d mention it)of a whale. YORU has a mouth (of sorts) that is intended to encompass sensitive body parts like nipples, clits, labia, perineum (this may be a stretch but I love that stimulation), and anything else you’d like to use it on. The versatility of this toy is appreciated because, although it was likely made with vagina/clits in mind, this can be used by anyone of any genitals. It’s always appreciated when toys I review are inclusive.

The irhoa Plus YORU is a soft, silicone toy with a flexible mouth. Silicone lube is not compatible with silicone toys and I am a huge proponent of lube with any and all sex toys. I like Sliquid’s line of lube and Sutil is another favorite. Lube makes everything glide more smoothly and, for me, it enhances the feeling of the toys in, or on, my body.

To clean this waterproof, silicone iroha+ YORU all you need to do is wash it with water because it’s body-safe and doesn’t harbor bacteria because it does not absorb bodily fluids. If you’re pressed for time, you can simply use a toy cleaner, but make sure you do wash this toy.

Tenga iroha+ YORU in Use

The Tenga Plus YORU is easy to charge. It comes with a fancy-dancy charging box. The box has a clear lid that displays the iroha+ YORU like it’s a damn piece of art. This is actually common with iroha from what I’ve seen. They tend to charge in boxes.

In the box is a magnetic charging point that you rest the iroha+ YORU. There is a charging cord that comes with the toy and plugs into any USB charging port. I love it when the toys are chargeable by a USB cord. That means I get to display the toy on my desk while I write. My computer is responsible for charging the majority of the toys I have.

There are only two buttons but they do more than controlling the toy. On the bottom of the Tenga iroha+ YORU there are two buttons that connect to the charger AND double as the on/off, (-) – (+) buttons. To turn the iroha+ YORU on you hold the (+) button and wait for the vibes to get started. Then, you can control the various intensities with those two buttons.

Rose’s Experience with the Tenga iroha+ YORU

The Tenga iroha+ YORU is a very…. comfortable toy. The silicone is nothing like the hard ABS plastic of the iroha Mini. With the iroha plus YORU, the silicone feels like there’s a layer of liquid silicone, much like with the Supple Swirl dildo.

While pinpoint stimulation can be fun sometimes (like with the Zumio), I’m not always up for that. The iroha+ YORU is more my style.

One of the first things I did was use the mouth around my clit. Surprisingly, the soft silicone did not mute the vibrations. The mouth was less coated in the liquid silicone and was rather firm, making it kiss my clit with more precision. While I enjoyed this sensation, it wasn’t something I could keep up without keeping my finger pinched around the mouth.

Instead, I found that the body of the iroha+ YORU was incredibly stimulating against my clit and my vulva. The vibrations surprisingly traveled throughout the toy. I found the most comfortable way to use the toy was to turn it upside down so my vulva wasn’t touching the buttons.

Vibrations started out as buzzy but didn’t seem to get more buzzy the higher the intensity. I was able to come from this toy but it wasn’t easy. However, the highest setting is really powerful, and I was pleased with it.

Overall

The Tenga iroha+ YORU is a good toy for the price tag, though I wish the vibrations weren’t so busy. The liquid-like silicone is comfortable aagaianst my body, especially when things are more sensitive. While the mouth of the toy was pleasurably pressed against my clit, it wasn’t feasible to hold it very much that way.

  1. Iroha’s weak spot seems to be their motors. They have unique, well made toys, but all too often the motor is buzzy or just under powered. If they could fix this problem they would have a really impressive lineup.
