Review: Fantasy For Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue

When I was offered the opportunity to review toys from The Vibed I was thrilled. I picked a selection of toys that were weird, ones that I’ve heard of, ones I haven’t, and a dildo I thought I may be able to use for pegging my wife. Then, there was the Her Silicone Fun Tongue.

The “Fantasy for Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue” just looks so ridiculous. I almost didn’t pick it but I want to cover a range of sex toys for y’all so I bit the bullet and took in this fugly toy.

Usually, I have some high hopes for a toy but I held back on this one because I didn’t know what to expect.

Fantasy for Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue is a purple toy pictured on yellow satin. The toy is painfully gendered, in both search terms think: "female massager" and in marketing and name

tl;dr?

The Fantasy For Her Her Silicone Fun Tongue is a silly, long name that is painfully gendered. However, this is the first time I’ve used a toy of this nature and the first time in a long time that I was able to come from something resembling a tongue or fingers.

Why are you gendered??

I was going to start off this section by saying, “There aren’t many things that bother me buuutttttt….” But that’s just not true. I’m easily angered and agitated, and the gendering of this toy just annoyed me. This toy is what some would call a “female massager” of sorts.

Honestly, I don’t expect much better from Pipedreams, but the description of this tongue toy is still disappointing. If you can get past the gendered language, this toy is the bomb.

I should note that this is a Pipedream toy and they are a deeply concerning brand. Their packaging and their marketing are racist, sexist, ableist, transphobic, and fatphobic. All-in-all disgusting. This review, however, will focus on the toy – and the toy alone, and how it stands up as something that will go on your body. I will likely continue to review Pipedream toys because they are affordable and right now money is tight for all of us. What I want most is to be a positive asset to your sex life and so many of us are struggling.

Packaging

The Fantasy For Her Her Silicone Fun Tongue comes in a very basic box with details about the toy on the outside and a charger on the inside. While I didn’t care much for the packaging, it does the job.

Inside you’ll find the Her Silicone Fun Tongue with its case locked onto the toy, and a magnetic charger. It’s simple and great to travel with. Since I have so many toys, it’s always nice to have a built-in case so it doesn’t get jostled in storage.

Materials, care and keeping

The Her Silicone Fun Tongue comes with a cover that you place over the toy to protect the silicone. At first glance, this sex vibe looks like a teensy-tiny football, maybe for children, but inside is one of the weirdest toys I’ve seen. From the outside, it doesn’t resemble a sex toy in the slightest.

Because this toy is silicone and ABS plastic, it’s a body-safe toy. The Her Silicone Fun Tongue is waterproof so you can quickly rinse it with soap and water without worrying about it being destroyed. In fact, I full-out took it in the bath and had a fair amount of fun there.

Let’s get more personal: The design

Fantasy for Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue comes with a case that doesn’t fall open. There’s slight resistance when you take the case off. On the inside, you have the body of the toy, the magnetic charging port, and a removable head surrounding the tongue.

While I was only interested in using it on my clit the user can take off the head and use it to stimulate any part of your body like your nipples, your anus, anywhere else you may want to have it.

Though the body is large, it fits comfortably in my palm. I found that it was the perfect size for my body. I used this toy on my clit with the head on and prefer it that way. My body isn’t too large but this toy is short and squat. I had no problem with this but it seems to me like there will be limitations some people have with accessibility.

Now, here’s the cool part: the tongue heats up. And it heats up quickly. It reaches a comfortable within a minute and is ready to go. While I used the heat function, I found that the vibrations, the movement of the tongue, and the damn noise of this toy made that function not matter so much. In fact, the comfortable temperature may have contributed to the fact that the toy wasn’t that bad. My thought is that if it’d been cold, I would have had more negative things to say about it.

I was quite impressed with the heating function, actually. Generally, I stay away from heating toys because I don’t trust them but since the Her Silicone Fun Tongue is external, I was more comfortable playing with that.

My experience with the Her Silicone Fun Tongue

Before I got started I gathered some lube and I pressed the heat button on this silicone sex toy. Then I settled back and gave it a good run. I found that placing the tongue on my clit was ridiculously easy. With other oral sex simulators (that play with air) I had to be very specific where I placed the head of the toy and how exposed my clit was.

Instead, with the Her Silicone Fun Tongue I was able to just position the large head over my clit and press the single on (+) button. Lemme just say something – if descretion is an issue for you, this is not the toy for you. This shit is loud and sounds incredibly robotic. You can hear this in my living room from my bedroom. My wife encourages me to use toys whenever – whereever – I want so privacy is not an issue with me. But, damn, is it loud. This would flat-out not work for a lot of people.

But let’s continue with the experience. Aside from this toy being loud, it’s also pokey. I put lube on my clit to make the experience smoother, and I settled in for a…. ride.

There was something I noticed right away

The first thing I noticed was how uncomfortable the damn pokey parts are. I really wish the tongue didn’t have those. It was too much for my sensitive, exposed clit. Instead, I ended up having to move the toy so that it hit the side of my clitoral hood. That was reasonable.

The tongue moves in a stroking motion but what makes this even more unique is that the tongue vibrated, as well. It was a mix of the vibrations and the constant contact on my clit that made me come. This was the first time in a long time that I was able to use something similar to fingers to reach orgasm. In fact, I was able to reach orgasm within a minute after having my first. Again, it was too rough for my clit so I had to move it to the side of my anatomy.

You don’t have to stop at the clit

Although I’m not a huge fan of nipple play – it brings on some unfortunate emotions – I gave it a try with the head on. It was… efective but damn was it uncomfortable. It’s those damn pokey things. If it had been smoother, lightly coating my nipple with lube and applying the tongue with the head on would have been less uncomfortable.

And then comes my anus. I have found that I do enjoy some stimulation of my ass during sex so I took off the hood and I let it rim me. 7/10 would do again. It is a tad hard to fit it on my asshole. I had to lie face down with my ass in the air and apply the tongue that way. Solo, way too much work but my partner could stimulate my ass just fine if we held my cheeks out of the way. Think: getting your ass waxed during a Brazilian bikini wax.

Overall thoughts

In my unique situation, a toy like this is fine. I’m going to be using it in the future. That awful robotic noise mixed with the vibrations is unfortunate. This is a def “no” for those of you who need discretion. People will hear this. However, it is nice that when you cap the toy, you cannot tell it’s a toy.

This is a hard call. I like the toy, it worked for me, and I’ll use it again. But does that mean it’s the right toy for you? If you live alone or have a partner that either likes to play with you (my wife) or who will give you privacy when you tell her you need the bedroom to masturbate in while she watches TV (my wife) then this is a decent toy. Otherwise, this’d be a waste for those of you in pretty much any other situation.

If the noise is something you’re okay with…

Get it, if you’d like. Since it’s an oral sex simulator, the Vibed also carries other oral sex simulators though these toys use air rather than a touch like a toy like Fantasy for Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue. Though they are expensive, they are well worth the buy.

You can get the Fantasy for Her, Her Silicone Fun Tongue here at Vibed for $62.85 at the time of publication.

  1. Some of the names Pipedream gives their toys are just so awful. They seem like the result of some bizarre sex themed game of Madlibs.

    1. omg right?? Keep checking back for the next toys to win. But, yeah, gosh, I love all of that. I actually just got another two clit lickers/suction devices of sorts for review so I’ll be getting those up in the next month or two!

  2. That tongue looks.. ouch. I’ll never get over the irony of a toy that’s supposed to “replicate the tongue of a well-trained lover” (their words, not mine) but is actually just a spiky-ass piece of silicone.
