Review: Wonderlust Serenity Vibrator

Design

You’ll find that I have a history of reviewing toys like the Wonderlust Serenity G-Spot Vibrator. The Serenity Wonderlust is a long, slender g-spot vibrator with a silicone body. Its head is curved and bulbous. It’s this design that gets me going. I’ve found that the bulbous head presses against my g-spot and, in turn, makes me feel full.

The handle of the toy has two buttons that control the speed and patterns. While this toy mirrors the design of other toys I’ve liked, there is a caveat: the damn thing wiggles. It’s no design flaw, it’s designed to be flexible but when you read further down you review, you’ll see why that’s a bit of an issue for how I like to use this toy.

The Wonderlust Serenity comes in hot pink, blue, and purple and I had the sense of mind to request blue. Both pink and purple are overused in the sex toy industry and it has the potential to alienate customers. This soft blue paired with white ABS plastic gives off a calming vibe. In fact, blue is the color of peace and it doesn’t make me feel agitated like red toys do.

Materials, Care, and Keeping

Silicone is a body-safe material and is inert. This material can be sanitized, though that isn’t necessarily needed because it’s not porous and does not absorb anything gross; nor does it harbor bacteria. It can be stored with other toys and cleaned with soap and water or sanitized with water: bleach solution. Personally, with my body-safe toys that don’t have crevices, I simply wash them with soap and water, before and after use.

LUBE is always a good idea but be warned to only use water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lubricant can damage a silicone toy. Hybrid lubes, like SPUNK lube, and oil-based lubes can be arguably safe to use with silicone. If you have one of the two latter, be sure to do a spot test on the silicone on the back of the toy.

Accessibility

My wife suffers from debilitating pain from carpal tunnel syndrome so I always keep that in mind when I test a toy. Because we have mostly sex-toy sex, it’s important that we find a way to both use the toy. My wife had no problem holding this toy, and neither did I.

However, while you can hold the toy steady with one hand, it’s important to keep in mind that the neck of the toy wiggles. The toy is light enough that it didn’t irritate her wrists by just being there, either. I’ve come across some toys nJoy Pure Wand, Hitachi, monster dildos – that can aggravate her wrist and create problems when there weren’t any before.

The Wonderlust Serenity with my fat body

My body has changed significantly since COVID. I’ve shot up from 135 lbs to 200 lbs and it’s been quite an adjustment. For one instance, I have to reach past my larger belly with my larger arms. The Serenity G-Spot Vibrator is long enough that I don’t have accessibility issues. In fact, this toy is nearly perfect for the reach of my body. The handle easy to grasp while the head is elongated enough so that it reaches my everything.

Toy in Use

I’ve never had a toy do what the Wonderlust Serenity G-Spot Vibrator does – it pauses the vibrations every time you press a button. It’s really annoying. While the 1-2 second pause doesn’t do much to disrupt the rhythm, it makes no sense for a toy to do that. It’s a huge oversight on BMS Factory’s part. Because of this issue, I cannot rave about this toy.

To start the Wonderlust Serenity simply apply a little pressure to the “on” button and you can control the speed and patterns with the “~” wavy button.

Rose’s Experience

I was really excited about the Wonderlust Serenity G-Spot Vibrator. It’s shaped like the Mona, Uma, and Hype. I’ve absolutely loved all of those toys.

To begin, I slathered water-based lube on the head of the toy and used it against my clit to warm up. The vibrations are deep and rumbly on the lower levels, akin to the Pillow Talk Sassy. Throughout my use of the toy I found that I preferred using it on my clitoris. Internally, the toy hit my g-spot like the Mona does and the bulbous head found it right away.

However, there is an issue with this toy that cannot be overlooked: when I cycle through the speeds, the damn toy STOPS for a second and then goes to the next level. It was so disappointing. Though the toy paused when I pressed the control button, it wasn’t long enough so that it messed with my groove.

The neck of the Wonderlust Serenity G-Spot Vibrator is flexible. It’s designed to be that way and while I can appreciate that it works for some people, I wasn’t too fond of the flexibility. I like firm, constant pressure against my clitoris and in order to have that I had to hold the head of the toy and press the head of the toy against my body. Holding the handle of the toy didn’t work for that constant, firm pressure.

Summary

Although this toy pauses between cycles, I can still recommend it. I found that the shape worked perfectly for my body and found my g-spot with ease. The vibrations were strong and true to what I need in order to reach orgasm. In fact, I found that I turned to this toy during our move.

Overall, though, if you’re going to get a toy and you can spend an extra $15-20 then I’d recommend the Pillow Talk Sassy over the Wonderlust Serenity G-Spot Vibrator. It’s just… better so spend your money wisely. As always, please clear your cookies before you visit so that I get a tad bit of affiliate income!

This is an excellent toy for the price tag. Later this year I’ll have a list of top toys for the holidays and this toy will be in it. Likewise, I have a list of my favorite sex toys under $60 and this will be on that list.

You can buy the Wonderlust Serenity at The Vibed but I recommend the Pillow Talk Sassy…

  1. I find it Odd that it pauses. Seems like it would be easier to have it not pause. I like the blue color.
